The contract
Who we are, what you buy, how the contract is concluded and what each of us must do.
In short
Aegis Traders sells trading performance evaluations on simulated accounts. All accounts, including the rewards account, are simulated: you don't trade real money, you hold no account with a broker and you own no financial instruments.
This is not an investment, brokerage or financial advice service. We don't manage money for you and we don't give you trading recommendations.
If you follow the rules, you can receive a reward on the rewards account, worked out from the simulated profit and paid by us by bank transfer, under the rewards account contract and the “Payouts” part.
We pay the reward from the firm's own money. It does not come from a real trade and is not a share of any real profit.
Legally, this is a distance contract for digital services: we give you access to a simulated trading environment and assess how you manage risk and follow rules published in advance, the same for everyone. The price is the price of a service, not a stake. You do not bet on an outcome, and we set no odds.
Who we are
The Aegis Traders service is provided by DIONIX SOFTWORKS S.R.L., with its registered office at București, Sector 5, Str. Dr. Leonte Anastasievici nr. 9, cam. 2, et. 1, ap. 2, cod poștal 050464, entered in the Trade Register under no. J2024038563007, tax ID 50834541, VAT number RO55614113. You can write to [email protected] or through a ticket from your account, where the first reply usually comes within 24 hours on working days, and within 3 working days at most.
In these terms, “we” means this company and “you” means the person who opens an account and uses the service.
How the contract is concluded
The contract is concluded online, in the language you choose on the site, Romanian or English. The steps are:
- you open an account and accept these terms and the privacy policy;
- you choose the product and see the total price, including VAT;
- you ask for the service to start at once;
- you press “Order with obligation to pay” and pay.
Until you press that button you can correct any choice by going back a step. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email, right after the payment is confirmed.
The contract lasts until the evaluation ends or, on the rewards account, until the account stops. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
We keep the text you accepted. You can find it at any time in your account, under “Accepted documents”, and the order confirmation reaches you by email.
If the Romanian and English versions differ, the Romanian one prevails, without reducing your rights as a consumer.
What you buy
You buy access to an evaluation on a simulated trading account (with 1-Step and 2-Step) or straight to a simulated rewards account (with Instant).
Once the payment is confirmed, you receive access to the simulated account on the Aegis Traders platform and open it in your browser, from your account. The platform is simulated: your orders never reach a real market, and the prices come from a data provider. Other platforms may come later; we promise no date.
The balance, profit and losses on a simulated account are not money and cannot be withdrawn. The only amount that can be paid to you is the reward on the rewards account, under the conditions below.
Who can use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The service is available in the countries of the European Union and in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. It is not available in any other country, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, the Vatican, the United States and countries under EU or UN sanctions.
- For now we only sell to individuals buying in their own name, not to companies.
- The details you give us must be true and your own.
Your account and its security
You open an account with an email address and a password. You must confirm your email address before you buy.
Your account is personal. Don't share it with anyone and don't let anyone else trade for you, either on your Aegis Traders account or on your trading account.
Keep your password secret. We recommend turning on two-step verification with an authenticator app. It is required to add or change the bank account for payouts.
In your account you can see your active sessions and your security history, and you can end any session at any time. If you notice access you don't recognise, change your password and write to us straight away.
Products and versions
We offer three product types:
- 2-Step: two evaluation phases, then the rewards account;
- 1-Step: one evaluation phase, then the rewards account;
- Instant: no evaluation; you start straight on the rewards account, with stricter limits.
Each product has published, versioned trading rules and a payout policy. The exact values (price, targets, limits, percentages, time limits) are on the product page and in your account.
When you buy, we keep a copy of the product version you bought. Your account stays on that version: a later change to the offer does not apply retroactively.
Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars (USD) and include VAT. You pay exactly the amount shown; VAT is worked out from the country in your billing address, which is required.
Payment is made through Stripe, on Stripe’s payment page. We never see or store your card details. You receive the payment confirmation by email from Stripe.
We issue the invoice through our invoicing program, Keez, and send it to you by email. For customers in Romania, we also submit it to the RO e-Factura system where the law requires it.
Your account is delivered once Stripe confirms the payment to us. An unpaid order expires and is cancelled.
The rewards account: identity check and contract
Before the rewards account we verify your identity, once, through our provider, Didit. An approved check is valid for all your orders. The details are in the privacy policy.
You then accept the rewards account contract on the site. You can read it at any time, even before you buy, at /legal/funded-contract/current. The contract has versions, like these terms; we keep the version you accepted, the date and time, your IP address and your browser.
After these steps we create the rewards account.
With Instant, the rewards account exists from the purchase; the identity check and the contract are needed before the first payout.
The rewards account is a simulated account too.
What you must not do
You must not:
- use several accounts, or act together with other people, to get around the rules or limits;
- share your account or sign-in details, or let someone else trade for you;
- copy someone else’s trades;
- exploit price, platform or system errors;
- give false identity details or use the service from an excluded country;
- to trade in opposite directions on two or more accounts, yours or other people's, to offset risk between them;
- to use latency arbitrage or automated tools that exploit delays in prices or in the platform;
- to manage an account for someone else, or to sell or transfer an account;
- to hide your country, for example through a VPN, to get around the restrictions;
- to try to access our systems without permission or disrupt them, scrape the site or decompile the platform.
If we find such a practice, we may refuse a phase pass or a payout and stop the account. We tell you the reason and show you the evidence, and you can appeal the decision. A serious or repeated breach can end the contract and close your Aegis Traders account. We don't return the price of a service already used, and your rights as a consumer are not affected.
Our liability
We are responsible for the service we sold you. By law, you are entitled to a digital service that conforms to the contract. If it doesn't, you can ask us to bring it into conformity and, under the conditions of Romanian Emergency Ordinance 141/2021, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
We are not responsible for:
- the results of your trading decisions, which are simulated;
- simulated profit you did not make;
- interruptions caused by force majeure or by public networks that are outside our control and that of our suppliers.
Except as set out below, our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for that order. The limit doesn't apply to rewards due, to remedies for lack of conformity or to amounts we must return to you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury or for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Ending the contract and closing the account
You can delete your Aegis Traders account at any time from the account page, once you no longer have an active trading account or a payout in progress.
The contract for an order ends when the evaluation is over or when the rewards account has stopped for good, under the product's rules.
We may suspend access where needed for security or required by law. We tell you the reason, if the law allows it.
Intellectual property
The site, the platform, the Aegis Traders brand and their content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for the duration of the contract, for the service only.
Your results are published only with your consent. What you publish about the service must not present a simulated account as a real one.
Changes to these terms
Every change to the terms is a new version, published on the site. A version that has been shown is never edited, and older versions stay available.
We keep the version you accepted, with the date and time, your IP address and your browser. In your account, under “Accepted documents”, you can see the exact text you accepted.
We tell you by email and in your account at least 30 days before a new version applies, except for changes required by law or those that only benefit you. A new version doesn't change the price, the rules or the payout policy of an order already paid. If you disagree, you can close your account by the date it applies, at no cost, unless you have an active trading account; active accounts stay on the old conditions until they end.
Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by Romanian law. If you live in another EU or EEA country, you keep the protection given by the mandatory rules of your country.
Before anything else, write to us: most problems are solved through a ticket. The procedure, and where you can turn, are in the “Complaints and disputes” part.
As a consumer, you can turn to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro) and use alternative dispute resolution through the ANPC platform, reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. The European online dispute resolution platform has been closed.
A dispute that isn't settled amicably goes to the competent court under the law. As a consumer, you can also choose the court where you live.
Withdrawal and refunds
You have 14 days from the conclusion of the contract, that is, from the order confirmation email, to withdraw. Before the first trade you get all your money back, after the first trade you pay in proportion to what you used, and once the service has been fully performed you can no longer withdraw. The easiest way is the “Withdraw from your contract here” link, in the footer of every page and on the order page.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded, that is, the day we confirm your order by email, after payment.
To exercise the right, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement. Our details: DIONIX SOFTWORKS S.R.L., București, Sector 5, Str. Dr. Leonte Anastasievici nr. 9, cam. 2, et. 1, ap. 2, cod poștal 050464, [email protected].
You can also exercise your right online, at the “Withdraw from your contract here” link (/withdraw), in the footer of every page. Once you send the declaration, we confirm receipt by email, with its content, date and time.
You may use the model form below, but you don't have to.
You are on time if you send the declaration before the withdrawal period expires. The day of the confirmation doesn't count, and the period ends at the end of the last day. If the last day is a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, the period runs to the end of the next working day.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we return all payments received from you, without undue delay and within 14 days of the day we learned of your decision. We use the same payment method you used, unless you agreed otherwise, and charge no fee for the refund.
If you asked for the service to start during the withdrawal period, you owe an amount proportional to what was provided until you told us of the withdrawal. The calculation is below: you owe nothing if you placed no trade.
The right of withdrawal no longer exists once the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your express consent and your acknowledgement of this.
How much you get back
Before the first trade on the order's account: the whole amount paid.
After the first trade, within the 14 days: the amount paid, less the share proportional to the service received. Because you asked for an immediate start, the law requires you to pay this share.
The proportional share is: amount paid × days started from delivery of the account to the withdrawal ÷ 30. The price covers a reference period of 30 days from delivery of the account, against which the proportional share is worked out.
Example: you paid $100 and withdraw on the sixth day after delivery. Your share is $100 × 6 ÷ 30 = $20, and we return $80.
When the service is fully performed
From that moment you can no longer withdraw, because you asked for an immediate start and confirmed that you knew this:
- on 1-Step and 2-Step, when the evaluation has ended for good, after a limit breach or when the phase expired;
- on the rewards account, Instant included, when the account has stopped for good after a breach.
Passing the last phase or requesting a payout doesn't end the right of withdrawal by itself; within the 14 days you pay the proportional share.
Withdrawal and add-ons
Add-ons you bought are part of the order's price and follow the same rules.
Other refunds
We also return your money in full, outside the right of withdrawal, if:
- you paid the same order twice;
- we can't deliver the account;
- the service doesn't conform to the contract and we can't fix it within a reasonable time.
How a refund is made
The money is returned through Stripe, to the card or payment method it came from, with no fees from us. Depending on your bank, it shows up in your account within 5–10 business days.
The reason for every refund is recorded.
What happens to the trading account
When an order is refunded, we stop trading on the trading accounts created from it. An account still being created is no longer created.
A refunded order doesn't move on to the next stage, such as phase 2 or the rewards account.
If the refund happens during a payout request, the payout is rejected.
Disputing the payment with your bank (chargeback)
If you open a payment dispute with your bank (chargeback), the order is marked as disputed and we stop trading on the accounts created from it. An open payout request is rejected.
If the dispute closes in our favour, the order returns to its previous state, but the account stays stopped. We reopen it if the dispute started from an error and you confirm the payment is yours.
If the dispute closes in your favour, the order counts as refunded.
If you have a problem with a payment, please write to us first through a ticket from your account.

Trading rules
How an account is assessed: how losses are measured, when you pass a phase and what happens on a breach. The exact values for each product are on its page and in your account.
Where to find the exact values
The rules of each product and each phase are published in versioned files. On the product page and in your account you can see the exact values of your version.
A published version never changes. A change means a new version, for purchases made after it. Your account stays on the version it was bought with.
Limits and targets are expressed as a percentage of the account’s initial capital.
Equity: how losses are measured
Losses are measured on equity: the balance plus the profit or loss of open positions. An open position at a loss counts, even if you haven’t closed it.
Commissions and swaps are included in equity as the platform reports them; we don’t add them a second time.
The product’s rules also say whether touching a limit exactly already counts as a breach, or only going below it.
The trading day and the daily reset
The trading day starts at the reset time set in the product’s rules, in the local time of the time zone given there. Days when the clocks change (23 or 25 hours long) still have exactly one reset.
At the reset time we read the account’s balance and equity from the platform. If the platform doesn’t answer shortly, we use the last value known before the reset and mark it as approximated in the evidence. That way, an outage on our side or the platform’s doesn’t penalise you.
Daily loss
The daily limit starts from a reference value fixed at the reset. Depending on the product, the reference is:
- the balance at the start of the day;
- the equity at the start of the day;
- or the higher of the two.
The daily limit is the reference minus the daily loss percentage of the initial capital. If equity crosses this limit, the rule is broken.
Maximum loss
Depending on the product, the maximum loss limit is static or trailing:
- static: the limit is the initial capital minus the maximum loss percentage, and it doesn’t move until a payout;
- trailing: the limit is the highest closed balance the account has reached, minus the same percentage of the initial capital. It rises with the balance and doesn’t go down, except on a payout.
If equity crosses the maximum loss limit, the rule is broken.
On the rewards account, after a payout the limit is worked out again from the remaining balance, as the “Payouts” part explains.
Passing a phase
An evaluation phase is passed when all of these are met:
- the closed profit reaches the phase target;
- you have traded on at least the minimum number of trading days;
- you have no open positions;
- you have not broken any limit.
A trading day is a day, from one reset to the next, on which at least one deal was executed on the account, opening or closing a position.
We never declare a pass on delayed data from the platform. If the data is delayed, the reached target is noted and the pass is confirmed automatically once the data is up to date again. The limits keep applying.
On a pass, the account is stopped: trading is disabled and pending orders are cancelled. A person checks the result, including for prohibited practices, then approves or refuses the pass, with a reason.
Once approved, with 2-Step the next phase starts automatically, with the same initial capital. After the last phase comes the path to the rewards account: the identity check and the contract.
Maximum duration of a phase
A product’s rules can set a maximum duration for a phase. If it ends without a pass, the phase expires and the account is stopped as on a breach.
The period runs from the first trade in the phase.
What happens on a breach
The breach is detected automatically. The account is stopped on the platform: trading is disabled, pending orders are cancelled and open positions are closed. The platform confirms each step.
We keep a record that can no longer be changed: the rule broken, the time, the equity, the limit, the balance, the day’s reference and its source (reading at the reset or approximation) and the event that took the account past the limit.
You receive an email with the rule and the exact figures, and you can see the record in your account.
The decision is made once. You can appeal it.
The rewards account
The same kinds of limits apply on the rewards account, daily loss and maximum loss, with your product’s values. There is no profit target; you can request payouts from the profit.
With Instant, the rewards account starts at purchase, without an evaluation phase, with stricter limits.
How payouts work and how the limits move after a payout is explained in the payout policy.
Technical outages
If the platform or the market data stop, orders are refused until they return, and the terminal shows the reason. An outage doesn't trigger SL, TP or stop-out on stale prices. If an appeal shows that an account was stopped by an error of our platform, you get a new account free of charge, at the same stage and of the same size, starting from zero. On the rewards account you also get the amount you were entitled to at the time of the error.
The platform and the symbols
Orders are executed on our platform, simulated: no order ever reaches a real market. You can trade 15 symbols in four classes: forex, metals, indices and crypto.
Leverage depends on the class: forex 1:100, metals 1:30, indices 1:20, crypto 1:2. The margin a position needs is its value divided by the leverage. The free margin has to cover every new position.
The specification of each symbol (contract size, minimum volume and step, platform markup, commission, swap) is published in a versioned file. Your account stays on the version it was created with; a new version applies only to accounts created after it.
Prices and execution
The price comes from a data provider. You buy at the ask and sell at the bid, with a small platform markup on top, so your execution price is slightly worse than the market’s.
An order is not executed on an old price (over 2 seconds), while the market is closed, or while the price is missing. In that case the order is refused and we tell you why.
Limit and stop orders are executed at the first price available after the price has reached them. So are stop loss and take profit: at a price gap, the execution may be worse than the level asked for.
Costs
Trading has three costs, all included in equity:
- the platform markup, added to the price (see above);
- a commission per lot: half when the position is opened and half when it is closed;
- overnight swap, for positions held past 17:00 New York time. It is paid or earned depending on the direction of the position. Wednesday is charged triple, to cover the weekend; Saturday and Sunday have no swap of their own. On crypto it is charged daily.
The exact values for each symbol are those in its specification.
Trading hours and the weekend
Hours follow the real market, in each market’s local time, so they move when the clocks change:
- forex: from Sunday 17:00 to Friday 17:00, New York time;
- metals and US indices: like the CME exchange, from Sunday 18:00 to Friday 17:00, with the daily break from 17:00 to 18:00;
- crypto: non-stop, weekends included.
On the holidays in the specification, the hours are shortened or the market stays closed. While a symbol’s market is closed you cannot open or close positions on it, and pending orders, stop loss, take profit and the stop-out wait for it to open. You can hold positions over the weekend, with the risk of a price gap at the open.
Hedging, margin and stop-out
You can hold several positions on the same symbol, including a buy and a sell at once (hedging). Each position needs its own margin.
If the margin level (equity over the margin used) falls under 50%, the platform closes the most losing position, then the next ones, until the level is back over the threshold.
Rules against exploitation
An account can send at most 30 orders in a minute. Over the limit, the new order is refused and the ones already sent do not change.
The profit of a position held for less than 60 seconds does not count towards the profit target of an evaluation phase. Its losses and costs always count. In your account you see how much was set aside.
We have no restriction for news periods. Any such restriction is published here and applies only to accounts bought after it is published.
Prohibited practices are in the “The contract” part, under “What you must not do”.
Payouts
How you request a payout from the rewards account, how the amount is worked out and what happens to the account after payment.
Before your first payout
To request a payout, you must:
- have passed the identity check;
- have accepted the rewards account contract;
- have registered a bank account (IBAN) in the name confirmed by the identity check.
With Instant, the rewards account exists from the purchase, but the identity check and the contract are needed before the first payout.
The bank account must be in a European country we support, and the account holder name must match the name confirmed by the identity check. To add or change the bank account you need your password and two-step verification. After a change you receive an alert email, and payouts to the new account start after a safety period shown in your account.
When you can request
You request a payout yourself, from your account; it is not paid automatically.
- the first payout can be requested 30 days after the first trade on the rewards account or, on 2-Step and 1-Step, after 14 days if you bought the earlier first payout add-on;
- after that, at most once every 14 days from the previous request; a cancelled or rejected request doesn’t count;
- the amount must be at least the product’s minimum amount, USD 20;
- an account can have only one open request at a time.
Your account shows when you can request and the amount you are entitled to now.
How the amount is worked out
Profit is measured from the base: at first, the initial capital; after each payout, the balance left in the account.
The amount is your share of the profit above the base, plus the profit the cap left over from the previous request, rounded down to the cent.
Each request has a cap, worked out from the account’s capital: 4% on the first request, 7% on the second and 9% on every request after that. Since you can request at most every 14 days, you can’t receive more than 9% of the capital in any 14-day period.
We have no consistency rule: how much of your simulated profit came in a single day doesn’t block your request, and the cap above applies the same to every request. The practices these terms forbid stay forbidden.
The amount is worked out on the balance read from the platform after the account has been stopped for the request.
What happens when you request
You can only request a payout with no open positions and no pending orders.
When you request, we stop trading on the account on the platform until the decision. The amount and balance fixed at the request no longer change until payment.
As long as the request hasn’t been taken into review, you can cancel it; trading then resumes.
Review and approval
Each request is first reviewed, then approved, by two staff accounts with separate roles. The approver cannot be the reviewer or the person receiving the payout.
On approval, everything that could have changed is checked again: a restriction on the account, a breach, the bank account and the balance. A breach, a refund or a payment dispute with your bank arising during the request leads to the payout being rejected.
If the request is rejected, you can see the reason in your account and trading resumes. You can appeal the rejection from your account, within 7 days, once; the appeal is reviewed from scratch, with all the evidence, by a person.
The capital growth plan
On 2-Step and 1-Step, the capital of the rewards account grows by a quarter of the capital bought at each level, over four levels, up to double. It doesn’t apply to Instant.
You move to the next level automatically if, on the current level, you have at least 4 months since the first trade or the last raise, a net profit of at least 10% of the level’s capital, at least two payouts and no breach.
The added capital is not profit and can’t be requested as a reward. Loss limits and payout caps are worked out from the new capital.
What happens to the account after a payout
On approval, only the amount paid as a reward is taken off the simulated account; the other simulated figures stay in it. Trading then resumes.
The remaining balance becomes the new base: the next profit is measured from it, so nothing is paid twice.
Simulated profit above the cap doesn’t go into the base: it stays for the next request, on top of the new profit, while the account is active. Losses can reduce or cancel it. If the agreement ends before you request it, it no longer gives a right to a reward, like any profit not requested.
The maximum loss limit moves with the balance: a static limit is measured from the new base, so it rises; with a trailing limit, the highest balance starts again from the new base.
The daily reference goes down by the amount paid, so the payout does not count as a loss.
Payment by bank transfer
Approved payouts are paid by bank transfer, from the firm’s bank account, to the bank account approved with the payout.
A payout shows as paid only once the bank confirms the transfer on its statement. If the bank returns the transfer, the amount is owed again and we send it again, to your current bank account.
The payment leaves in US dollars (USD), usually within 5 business days of approval. We charge no fees for a payout. Intermediary banks or your own bank may deduct fees or convert the amount at their own rate.
The reward is your income. You are responsible for declaring and paying the taxes and contributions due in your country. If the law requires us to withhold tax or report the payment, we do so and show you the amount withheld.
Risks
What you should know before buying an evaluation: accounts are simulated, you can lose the price paid and we guarantee no result.
What the service is and isn't
All Aegis Traders accounts are simulated. You don't trade on a real market, you hold no account with a broker and you own no financial instruments.
We are not an investment firm and hold no licence from the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority or any other financial authority. We offer no advice, trading recommendations or money management.
The balance and profit in the account are simulated figures, not money. You can receive only the reward set out in the contract, under its conditions.
You can lose the price paid
The price of an evaluation is the cost of a service, not a deposit or an investment. You don't get it back if you don't pass, except in the situations in the “Withdrawal and refunds” part.
We don't guarantee that you will pass an evaluation, that you will receive a reward, or that past results, yours or anyone else's, will repeat.
Buy an evaluation only with money you can afford to lose. Don't borrow for it.
Limits can stop the account
Loss limits apply automatically. Prices can move fast, and a price gap can take the account past a limit before you can react.
Trading with leverage magnifies both gains and losses, even in a simulated environment. One bad day can end the evaluation.
Technical risks
The platform, market data, your internet or our suppliers can stop. While a price is stale or missing, your orders are refused.
Simulated execution can differ from what you would get on a real market. Prices include a platform markup, and trading costs reduce equity.
Results on simulated accounts are not real results
A good result on a simulated account doesn't show you would earn the same on a real market. There is no real slippage, no real liquidity and no effect of your orders on the market here.
Look after yourself
If you feel trading is affecting your money, sleep or relationships, stop and talk to someone close or to a specialist. You can delete your account at any time.
The service is only for people aged 18 or over.
Complaints and disputes
How to tell us about a problem, how fast we answer, and where you can turn if you aren't satisfied.
Start with us
Open a ticket from your account or write to [email protected]. The first reply usually comes within 24 hours on working days, and within 3 working days at most.
We resolve a complaint within 30 days. If we need longer, we tell you why.
Appealing a decision
You appeal a breach, a refused pass, a rejected payout or a rejected identity check from your account, within 7 days of the decision.
You have one appeal per decision. It is reviewed from scratch, with all the evidence, by a person, within 5 working days.
The 7-day period only concerns the appeal to us. It doesn't limit your right to go to ANPC, ADR or the courts.
Consumer protection
You can turn to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), anpc.ro.
You can ask for alternative dispute resolution, without going to court, through the ANPC platform: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
If you live in another EU country, Iceland or Norway, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help you for free. The European online dispute resolution platform has been closed.
Personal data
For a problem with your data, you can complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or to the authority in your country.
Court
You can go to the competent court at any time. As a consumer, you can also choose the court where you live.
